The District Celebrates National Drinking Water Week: May 4–10, 2025

East Valley Water District (District) is celebrating National Drinking Water Week, held nationally May 4-10, 2025. This special holiday is recognized by water agencies across the county and aims to raise awareness of the vital role water plays in our daily lives as well as the importance of having access to clean, safe water.

Today and every day, the District is committed to meeting and exceeding State and Federal water quality standards through year-round maintenance of the water system and rigorous water quality practices.

These efforts include routine water sampling at multiple points across the system, proactive hydrant flushing, and continuous monitoring to ensure your water remains safe, clean, and reliable.

We invite our community to join us in celebrating Drinking Water Week by taking a moment to appreciate the value of safe drinking water and learning more about how we keep it flowing to your tap.
